The song was written and sung by Pete Ham and produced by George Harrison, who plays some of the slide guitar parts of the song along with Ham. The record also features Leon Russell on piano. Released as a single in the US in November 1971, it would become the group's highest charting single.
lyrics
I remember finding out about you,
Every day my mind is all around you,
Looking out from my lonely room,
Day after day,
Bring it home, baby, make it soon,
I give my love to you.
I remember holding you while you sleep,
Everyday I feel the tears that you weep,
Looking out of my lonely gloom,
Day after day,
Bring it home, baby, make it soon,
I give my love to you.
Looking out of my lonely room
Day after day,
Bring it home, baby, make it soon,
I give my love to you.
I remember finding out about you,
Every day my mind is all around you,
Looking out of my lonely gloom,
Day after day,
Bring it home, baby, make it soon,
I give my love to yoooooou.

Robin Dalgleish helped me out big time with this particular song as she played the Leon Russel part. I played the rest of the guitars, bass & sanf all the vocals as well.
Started playing the guitar when I was 10 - took a 6 week crash course and was self-taught from there on. Played in a few
bands but always played. Technology has now allowed me to record my versions of songs and instead of just hearing the harmonies and other instruments in my head, I could now add them!
I hope you enjoy these songs!...more
