One of the first songs I recorded. Boyce & Hart had a hit with this in 1968. Together these 2 guys are responsible for writing over 300 songs and selling over 42 million records... and hardly anyone knows shit about them. Sad
lyrics
If I had told her, that I loved her,
She would have stayed till who knows when,
But I guess she couldn't understand it,
When I said I want to be your friend,
Cause a friend would never doubt you,
Or ever, put you uptight,
And now I wonder what she's doing tonight.
Oh yes I wonder,
What she's doing tonight,
Ohoh I wonder what she's doing tonight.
Ahhhhhhh, Ahhhhhh
We were so close but we should've been closer,
And it's making me feel so sad,
But I tell myself I didn't lose her,
Cause you can't lose a friend you never had, (come on now)
Cause a friend won't say it's over,
And go out, just for spite,
And now I wonder, what she's doing tonight.
Ah Ah - Oh yes I wonder,
What she's doing tonight,
Ohoh I wonder what she's doing tonight.
(all right Bobby let's go)
Because a friend will always be there,
If you're wrong or if you're right,
And now I wonder, what she's doing tonight.
Ah Ah - Oh yes I wonder,
What she's doing tonight,
Ohoh I wonder what she's doing tonight,
Sha la la la la tonight
Sha la la la la tonight

Written and performed by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart. In my cover version, I am playing all the instruments and singing all the vocal parts
Started playing the guitar when I was 10 - took a 6 week crash course and was self-taught from there on. Played in a few
bands but always played. Technology has now allowed me to record my versions of songs and instead of just hearing the harmonies and other instruments in my head, I could now add them!
I hope you enjoy these songs!...more
