This is a song by the Beatles from the album and film Help!, written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Capitol Records originally titled the song "You're Gonna Lose That Girl" in the United States. To fatten the sound McCartney overdubbed a background piano (a job that once would have been done by producer George Martin "live" on the backing track) and Ringo Starr added bongos, the addition of Latin-American percussion being another way the Beatles often exploited their new-found access to four-track recording.
lyrics
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl,
If you don't take her out tonight she's gonna change her mind,
And I will take her out tonight and I will treat her kind,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl,
If you don't treat her right, my friend you're gonna find her gone,
'Cause I will treat her right and then you'll be the lonely one,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna looooooose...
I'll make a point of taking her away from you, yeah,
The way you treat her, what else can I do.
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna looooooose...
I'll make a point of taking her away from you, yeah,
The way you treat her, what else can I do.
If you don't take her out tonight she's gonna change her mind,
And I will take her out tonight and I will treat her kind,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl,
You're gonna lose that girl.

I recorded my version of this song before I started videotaping myself playing and singing the parts... so for my YouTube video I borrowed the original scene from the movie Help! and added a psychedelic effect... I hope Paul & Ringo don't mind my tribute to one of their most under rated songs from a great flick...
Started playing the guitar when I was 10 - took a 6 week crash course and was self-taught from there on. Played in a few
bands but always played. Technology has now allowed me to record my versions of songs and instead of just hearing the harmonies and other instruments in my head, I could now add them!
I hope you enjoy these songs!...more
